1966 Shelby Mustang GT350 – 4-Speed

This 1966 Shelby Mustang GT350 was invoiced to Archway Motors (Baltimore) in May 1966, originally ordered in red with an optional rear seat. It later resided in NY and Ohio before a 1983 restoration in Pennsylvania. Acquired by the current owner in 2014.

Power comes from a rebuilt 289ci HiPo V8 (2019) featuring Keith Black pistons, COMP Cams roller cam and lifters, Elgin rockers, Manley valves, polished crank, and balanced rotating assembly. A Holley carburetor is fitted. The four-speed manual was rebuilt in October 2024.

Finished in red with white over-the-top and rocker stripes, the car features a steel-reinforced fiberglass hood with scoop, functional brake-cooling side scoops, chrome bumpers, and a driver-side mirror.

It rides on 14″ 10-spoke alloy wheels with General Altimax RT43 tires (2021 date codes) and includes factory-style Kelsey-Hayes front discs and larger rear drums.

The black vinyl interior includes low-back bucket seats, rear bench, Hurst shifter, wood-rim steering wheel, 140-mph speedometer, center-mounted 9k-rpm Cobra tach, and auxiliary gauges. Odometer shows 29k miles (~3k added by current owner). Push-button radio inoperative.
